PAYMENT TERMS

Payment due date invoices from Bright Aviation Limited are due within 30 days of the invoice date (Net 30), unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments must be made in the currency shown on the invoice (usually GBP or USD) by bank transfer. Time is critical - payments must be received on time.

Consequences of Late Payment If payment is not received by the due date, the following will apply automatically:

  • Interest: 1.5% per month (18% per year), or the maximum rate allowed by law. Interest is calculated daily on the overdue amount and compounded monthly until paid in full.

  • Late Fee: A one-time administration fee of 5% of the overdue amount (minimum £/$500.00 maximum £/$5,000.00) may be charged after 7 days.

  • Suspension of Services: We may suspend all ongoing work, withhold delivery of parts, documents, or aircraft items, and refuse further services until everything (including interest and fees) is paid.

  • Collection Costs: You are responsible for all reasonable costs we incur to recover the debt, including legal fees, court costs, and collection agency fees.

Further Rights: For repeated late payments, we may:

  • Require stricter payment terms for future orders (e.g. payment in advance);

  • Terminate the contract or services without liability;

  • Exercise any lien or legal rights over your aircraft, parts, or property in our possession until paid.

Returns and cancellations:

  • A minimum 10% restocking fee will be applied to each line when a purchase order is returned or cancelled during the repair or after the shipping process.

General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Accepting a late or partial payment does not waive our rights.

  • These provisions are standard in the aviation industry and considered reasonable.

These terms are part of Bright Aviation Limited’s standard Terms and Conditions and apply to all purchases unless changed in writing and signed by an authorised representative.
